What I’ve Learned through the Pain of Miscarriage

I am grateful to have had an adaptation of my article documenting the journey of our miscarriage, and God’s providence in it, published by The Gospel Coalition.

Verena and I are praying that our processing of pain can be a help to the many others that endure the same painful circumstance.

Here’s an excerpt:

The fact that Jesus is seated means when he said, “It is finished,” he meant it. The tomb is empty because its captive is risen, ascended, and seated on his throne. Our baby is, right now, in the presence of the risen and conquering King. She’s experiencing a more perfect love than we could ever give her. And someday we’ll see her again.
